2016 National memorial Day Parade

In June of 2016, the Kauai All-Island Band traveled to Washington, D.C. and was the first band from Hawaii to perform in the National Memorial Day Parade.  The itinerary included performances in the National Memorial Day Concert Series at the Air Force Memorial and the Gettysburg Battlefield Visitor's Center in Pennsylvania.  The students toured the Smithsonian Museums, the Capitol Building, the Holocaust Museum, Gettysburg, Williamsburg, and monuments in Washington, D.C.  It was a memorable trip and these are some photos from that experience.
